Thanks, every one of you for another successful year here at The Gluten-Free Foodsmith. I wanted to share with you my Top 10 Recipes for 2016. As I was going through all of my recipes to find which ones fell into the Top 10, I got all mushy about the recipes. Most of my recipes have a heartfelt story attached to them that involve my wonderful grandchildren and other family members. It made me think of all the time I’ve spent with them in my kitchen and how I’m building memories with each one of them. I want to thank you for sharing in those memories that will define each grandchild. Here’s my list of the Top 10 Recipes for 2016.

In the number 1 position is my Copy-Cat Suddenly Salad. This salad is great to pack up and take to family bar-b-ques or any type of gathering when you want something fresh and cool to serve.

Grilled Chicken with-Cauliflower Rice RecipeGrilled Chicken and Cauliflower Rice

In the number 2 position are my Grilled Chicken with Cauliflower Rice. It’s a healthier delicious alternative to using white or brown rice. This is a fantastic meal to fix for date night at home! They say the best way to someone’s heart is through their stomach and this will bring your closer to all hearts.

In the number 3 position is my Cranberry Orange Mimosa. Start any holiday with these tasty mimosa’s or serve them at a family brunch (just make sure to leave out the champagne for the kiddo’s) or anytime you just want to sit back and relax. These Cranberry Orange Mimosa’s are a delicious hit!

In the number 4 position are these fun and tasty Jello Jiggler Deviled Eggs. These eggs are a show stopper and will have everyone grabbing them of the platter. These sweet and colorful deviled eggs are certainly a winner. Serve them up at home, work, school or at any function. Easy to make and they will certainly be the talk of the day.

In the 5th place are my Honey Yogurt Avocado Dip. This dip is a healthier version of a veggie dip. It’s loaded with good for your ingredients and double loaded with taste. This dip is great for holidays, entertaining and especially for those game days when you would rather be in front of the TV watching your favorite team instead of slaving in the kitchen.

In the 6th place and tying with the 5th place is my delicious Touch Down Wings and Field Goal Dip. These crunchy gluten-free wings are a tasty bite of goodness and comfort. I always make these up for the Super Bowl because they are one of my most requested dishes to make. Serve with my version of Field Goal Dip to complete and complement the wings. Yum! Now I want some, so off to the kitchen for a break from writing to enjoy these Touch Down Wings.

In the 7th spot is my Quick and Easy Potato Egg Baskets. These tasty little egg baskets are loaded with the good stuff – potatoes, bacon and eggs! Yum! My grandchildren go nuts over these cute little baskets and eat them with no problem. They love the look and enjoy helping me to make them. Get your family in the kitchen and some fun cooking up these Quick and Easy Egg Baskets.

In the 8th place is this delicious Avocado Lime Pie. Yes, it’s an unusual combination, but a scrumptious one! This creamy pie is made with a raw almond crust that is to die for and the pie filling is just as tasty! Serve this up anytime of the day or for any holiday. Be sure to make more than one, because they will come back for more.

In the 9th spot are my Chocolate Lovers Raspberry Cakes. These decadent bites are perfect for Valentine’s Day or any time you want to serve up something special for your family. One bite will will have to taking another and another. My entire family loved these and couldn’t get enough. I think I’ve made these 7 different times since posting them on the blog.

In the 10th place but not last are my Chicken and Waffles with Pecan Sauce. These southern bites are one of my favorites. Being from the south we ate these a lot growing up. Each and every bite takes me back to when I was younger sitting in the kitchen with my mother. Just the smell will bring back memories of days gone by.
