Oh, and they also make for a tasty dinner when you want something a little different. Bring the family into the kitchen and have them help mixing up the batter and getting breakfast on the table.

These Cranberry Waffles with Cranberry Maple Syrup are so tasty and certainly a great way to start the off, or end your day! After all, who says waffles are only for breakfast! We love breakfast for dinner around here and believe me, we have to make enough for an army! The best part of making these Cranberry Waffles is all the empty plates at the end of our meal.

Total Time: 40 minutes

Cranberry Waffles

These Cranberry Waffles with Cranberry Maple Syrup are a great way to start off your family weekend! They're great for breakfast and delicious for dinner a well. Put some smiles on the faces around your table.


  • ½ cup – Cape Cod Select Premium Frozen Cranberries
  • ½ cup – Cran Juice – no sugar added
  • ¼ cup – Stevia in The Raw
  • 2 cups – Gluten-Free Flour
  • ¼ cup – Stevia in The Raw
  • 1 tsp – Baking Soda
  • 1 tsp – Baking Powder
  • 1 tsp – Pure Vanilla
  • 1 – Egg – beaten
  • 1 cup – Almond Milk – unsweet
  • ½ cup – Club Soda
  • Pinch of Sea Salt
  • ~~Syrup~~
  • 1 cup – Cape Cod Select Premium Frozen Cranberries
  • ¼ cup – Cran Juice – no added sugar
  • ½ cup – Stevia in The Raw
  • 1 Tbsp. – Lemon Juice
  • 1 tsp – Pure Vanilla
  • 1 Tbsp. – Orange Zest
  • ¼ cup – Orange Juice
  • ¼ cup – Maple Syrup
  • Cooking Spray – I use coconut cooking spray
  • Waffle Maker


  1. Combine all ingredients and cook on medium heat in a small cooking pot until syrup has reduced down a little and has thicken up. About 15 minutes.
  2. ~~Waffles~~
  3. Cranberry mixture for waffle batter - In a small cooking pot cook on medium heat – cranberries, cran juice, stevia, lemon juice, orange juice, and maple syrup until mixture has reduced by half. About 30 minutes. Set aside and allow to cool. Once cool mix in orange zest. While this is cooling, start your batter.
  4. Waffle Batter - In large bowl combine – flour, stevia, baking soda, baking powder, vanilla, egg, almond milk, club soda, and salt. Stir in cranberry mixture and combine well.
  5. Heat waffle maker according to manufactures directions. Once maker has heated pour batter into maker and cook until golden brown on each side. About 3 to 5 minutes.
  6. Serve Waffles with a pat of butter and pour syrup over the top!

I came up with 5 different recipes and could only enter into 3 of the categories, entree, dessert, and drink.
