It’s been a year since I started my food blog and I thought I would put together a list of my Top 10 Most Loved Facebook Recipes to share with you. My Facebook Fan Page is almost at its 1000th like! Which is a great accomplishment for all of us Food Bloggers out there.
Yay! I’ve made it – finally! This year has really been an eye opener for me. I’ve learned so many new things about myself and what I want to do in life. I learned to have more patience and put some good ole’ fashion fun back into the kitchen and back into my daily life. I’ve learned to take each day with the stride that it’s given you and to keep forging ahead. The best part of food blogging is I’ve met some wonderful people who have helped me along the way. Friendships that will last a life time. We may not see each other face to face, but I know you’re there!
Here’s a list of my Top 10 Most Loved Facebook Recipes. I’ve also included one of my favorite round-ups at the bottom of this list.
These are one of my favorite decadent desserts to make! They were and are a big hit for any occasion. My grandchildren think they’re the next best thing. Add a sweet treat to any holiday with these Chocolate Raspberry Cakes.
My Grandchildren Ethan and Autumn helped me create this wonderful tasty treats. I have seven wonderful reasons (7 grandchildren) for being in the kitchen and we work on the “what I did with grammie in the kitchen” memory books all the time. Life, love and fun can be found in the heart of the kitchen. These Toasted Marshmallow Chocolate Cupcakes are by far at the top of my memory book.
Meatloaf Cupcakes are fun and imaginable way to get your family to love meatloaf. Imagine the surprise and smiles on the faces of your family when you serve cupcakes for dinner. Autumn and I had so much fun in the kitchen creating dessert for dinner! We are working on our Cookbook Memories – Meals for The Family, and these Meatloaf Cupcakes are a top contender.
One of my most favorites that went crazy on Facebook wasn’t even a recipe, it’s when I posted a Merry Christmas from me and the grandchildren. I met so many wonderful people since I started my food blog and I wanted to introduce the most important people in my life that keep me filled with love, warmth and happiness.
Everyone knows I love converting over family recipes to gluten-free recipes and this Homemade Chicken and Dumplings are one of my favorite “smell-a-memories” for me. Family is always with me in my heart and soul and sometimes by making that favorite dish, you can feel them right there beside you.
When my in-laws went on vacation, my husband and I stayed at their camp to take care of their biggest baby Buttons (cute little dog), and we created these delicious Grilled Stuffed Pork Chops that were stuffed with golden apples, peppers and onions. They were simply amazing. We had such a fun and relaxing week and it was hard to get back into the swing of things once we got back home.
We have one of the biggest and oldest Rhubarb plants in the area. We were given the cutting nine years ago when we bought our home. The original plant it came from is over 100 years old. This plant is called the Alien in the yard! It puts out the most delicious rhubarb around. Everyone comments on our Alien! These Strawberry Rhubarb Muffins were a favorite around here.
You know I love to sneak in good healthy food in on my grandchildren and this Summer Squash and Zucchini Noodle recipe is one of my favorite ways to do it! They loved these “faux” noodles with a little sauce on top. They’re also one of my favorite things to make.
These cute little baskets are the tastiest little bites! Everyone loves them and can’t wait for me to make them. It’s one of my most requested breakfast items by my grandchildren, well besides pancakes of course. Quick and Easy Potato Egg Baskets are a fun way to get everyone around the table on time for breakfast.
These Sunny Orange Cupcakes are a delicious bite of home. I’m such a lucky person to have a dad that sends a crate of fresh Florida Oranges that were picked almost from my backyard and ship them all the way to Maine so I can have some sunshine in the winter. These Sunny Orange Cupcakes take me back to my childhood each and every year.
One more thing to add to this list is one of my favorite food round-ups of some of my favorite food bloggers and friends. This round-up was very popular on Facebook as well. It’s The Great Chicken Round-Up and has 9 different ways to make delicious mouth-watering chicken recipes! I’ve tried almost every one of them and they’re fantastic.
I hope you’ve enjoyed going through my list of Top 10 Most Loved Facebook Recipes as much as I have. Now that I’m hungry, I think I need to head into the kitchen and create something new that is going to make Facebook as hungry as I am right now. Thanks to all of you who have made this a wonderful year and I look forward to many years to come doing what I love most – creating in the kitchen and bringing love and laughter into the hearts and stomachs of all those that love food and love to eat gluten-free. Going gluten-free, doesn’t mean free from taste.
From my kitchen to yours,
A very special Thank You goes out to my girl Sandi over at Informed Sharing, if it wasn’t for her I never would of started my dream!
